Look At Me!

So often in my life I have chosen attention-seeking behaviors where my actions speak louder than words shouting "Look at me! Look at me!"

I am certainly not proud of that behavior. But I can also forgive myself for it, because you "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better you do better." ~Maya Angelou.

Another deeply impactful quote in this mindfulness moment is "This world has lost its grip on me" from the song Control by Tenth Avenue North.

This entire song, especially this line, becomes my truth a little bit more and more each day as I trudge the road of happy destiny. With each passing day I care a little bit less about seeking the approval or admiration of others, or about "building my brand."

In this moment I choose to take actions contrary to how I feel which make me useful in the care of others, living in the center of God's Will, practicing my Faith: #LoveGodlovepeople in that order as found in the two greatest commandments in the book of Matthew chapter 22 verses 36-40.
