
Life is full of choices. This morning I chose to hit snooze multiple times, skip my swim workout, make yet another IG reel on my drive to work, and eat a Krispy Kreme donut when I arrived at the office. None of the above were my best choices, in my opinion.
In spite of all that I have made some other choices so far today that have been what I would consider healthy, such as reading divinely inspired (again my opinion) literature, praying before getting out of bed and doing anything else, eating lentils with flaxseed and chia seeds for lunch as a few examples.
Simply because the day starts a bit off doesn't mean we have to self-sabotage the remainder of the day. We have a CHOICE in our words, actions, and behaviors.
If you've been around me in person or "followed" me on any forms of social media for any length of time, you have heard my mantras, including "life is full of choices... choose wisely" and myriad more similar sayings related to maintaining #healthymindbodyspirit
We can all agree that we have absolutely NO CONTROL over anyone else's behavior. But we are able to monitor our own choices in life.
