Mantras

“A mantra is traditionally a short sound, word or even phrase spoken in Sanskrit and used for meditation purposes. It’s uttered in repetition to help keep our mind and body focused on the moment. And since ancient times, mantras have been considered sacred and to be calming sounds, which is why you’ll often hear the most common ‘OM’ used to wind down the end of a yoga class."

The video above also contains a positive daily affirmation similar to #5 on the list above as well-- another Grateful Gwen favorite!
“Make it a great day—or not—The choice is yours!”
Choose your Attitude—I choose an Attitude of Gratitude!

May you find a few (or many) uplifting and encouraging mantras to incorporate into your daily healthy habits as well my friend! Another favorite of mine is The Serenity Prayer. It is powerful when you truly meditate on the words either spoken aloud or silently repeated inside your private thoughts. It's not just for alcholics, you know! It can be a peaceful prayer for anyone seeking peace, acceptance, courage, and/or wisdom! Highly recommend this empowering tool! Keeping my fingers crossed that the links included above will be live and active since I'm currently blogging from my laptop instead of my phone. If not, it will simply mean going back in from my phone and doing some editing, which seems to always be part of my process anyway. I am a Work in Progress ALWAYS -- and as such require a lot of editing and redirecting through mistakes and life lessons. I'm thankful for my patient, merciful, loving God of many chances who is continually guiding and redirecting my steps-- one step at a time. I pray you appreciate the GOD of your understanding as much as I do mine!

P.S. Definitely works a lot better to blog from my phone.

The links, as I suspected, were not active and the formatting was just plain ugly.

Once again, lessons learned.

Good thing we claim progress and not perfection!
