What do you see when you look into a mirror?
Who do you see starting back at you?
Are your thoughts filled with negativity and despair?
Or do you talk to yourself with love, compassion, grace, celebration, sensitivity, forgiveness, and hope?
Are you simply so busy and distracted that you don’t acknowledge yourself at all?

Now back to the Self Reflection Mirror Work…
In this moment when I look in the mirror, I see a WILD good girl!
No, this is not an impossible contradiction.
No, those identity concepts are not mutually exclusive.
I have found FREEDOM IN CHRIST.
My Jesus allows me to remain the free spirited wild flower 🌻 that I was created to be; while simultaneously being the obedient, devoted servant with faith like the child of God I am!
Believe me when I tell you, this has not always been the case for me.
I have spent many years loathing myself in the mirror to the point that I became unrecognizable to myself.
It was then that I surrendered. Raising up my white flag, 🏳 I bowed my head and fully accepted the Grace of God; as He began the WORK in me [Philippians 1:6] and I began the WORK of the 12 steps of recovery and continue to CHOOSE to TRUST THE PROCESS and HOPE for the promises to come true. They truly do, you know… come true. ❤️
The 2 most important, non-negotiable “rules” I decided are vital for my personal joy filled journey are these:
1. 𝐴𝑙𝑤𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑝𝑢𝑡 𝔾𝕆𝔻 𝔽𝕀ℝ𝕊𝕋!
2. To Thine Own Self Be True (Always be ℍ𝕆ℕ𝔼𝕊𝕋 with myself and others)
This is the only way for me to survive.
And not just survive, but THRIVE
with JOY in the JOURNEY!!!
